About Don Gath
Founder of Don Gath Insurance Agency, Don started his career in insurance promptly after he graduated college in 1958. Serving the community for 13 years as an insurance rater for Fireman’s Fund, he later became an insurance agent in Long Beach, California. His hard work and skill earned him a partnership at a local agency where he stayed until 1984, at which time Don started his own independent insurance agency. He always kept his family business effectively centered on the community and continued to work daily at the agency until his passing in 2021. Don always enjoyed serving the public, especially at St. Joseph Church in Long Beach where he was a Deacon.
